Pomegranate Orange Sangria


As soon as the calendar turns November, its all about the pomegranate! Anything pomegranate makes us smile.  Combine a little orange, wine and cinnamon and you have the beginning of holiday spirits! So let’s kick off this holiday season with a Pomegranate Orange Sangria that will be sure to get you in the festive mood.


We love the bright seasonal colors of this holiday treat.


Add a splash of Brandy and you will be singing FA LA LA LA LA


  • 1 bottle (750 ml) of red wine, like a Cabernet Sauvignon
  • 1 cup (237 ml) brandy
  • 1 cup (237 ml) pomegranate juice
  • 1 cup (237 ml) freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 pomegranate, arils removed
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 cinnamon stick


  1. In a large pitcher, stir together the wine, brandy, pomegranate juice and orange juice. Add orange slices, pomegranate arils, cranberries and cinnamon stick. Chill in the fridge for 2 hours.
  2. Serve with ice cubes.
